How do I maintain proper hair care?

Consider your Qlassy Hair extensions as your own hair except that it is no longer absorbing nutrients from the scalp. Caring for your hair extensions properly essentially means avoiding any tangling of the hair or weakening of the bonds. You may use chemical perms, dyes, normal hair care products, curling irons, straighteners or any kind of hot tool on your hair extensions. Be careful not to have direct contact with micro-links and hot tools. This may weaken the bonds.

Easy :: Proper care essentially means avoid tangling of the hair and weakening of the bonds.

How do I prevent hair from tangling?

Easy :: The point here is to prevent tangles. The most effective way is to use your fingers and comb gently through hair until hair is tangle free. Follow up Only using wide tooth comb or Hair Extension brush (included in our kits). Brush/Comb carefully, starting at the ends while gripping hair and holding it in a ponytail. DO NOT brush/comb links.

How do I prevent from Damaging the links?

Easy :: Try to avoid saturating links with hair products. Place products on the hair only, for example when washing if products get on link do not worry.  Just do not saturate the links and leave the product on for an extended period of time. Also be sure to avoid using heating tools directly on the links.

Fusion: Heat fusion or Micro-beads – which is better?

There are two most popular methods of strand by strand application. Both has its own benefits and are widely used by salon professionals. The fusion method using a heat wand to melt a pre-glued extension to you own hair; this method is not recommended for inexperienced users and requires a steady hand. This method of Fusion has the highest degree of difficulty to apply and to maintain.

The micro-bead is most popular with home users for its neatness and ease of application. This process uses no heat or glues that may damage the hair. Your hair strand is inserted in the micro-bead using a threading needle, hair extension is then inserted into the micro-bead and tightened with pliers. This process is not the easiest to maintain and requires more steps to apply than heat fusion and because hair is not pre-bonded to micro-bead it can cause slipping.
